Fulham FC Foundation
Fulham FC Foundation is the official charity of Fulham Football Club. The foundation is passionate in their pursuit of building better lives through sport, connecting Fulham FC to young people and adults, working with the community, supporting disabled young people, refugees, socially isolated adults, people with mental health challenges and many others.
They change the lives of over 10,000 people every year, inspire and engage through sport, improving physical health and mental wellbeing, helping people across our community feel socially connected and confident.
To date Fulham Social Hub has donated over 1.3k to help support the Foundation’s work thanks to our members and guests attending our events.
Friends of Bishops Park
The first organisation Fulham Social Hub supported was Friends of Bishops Park who “secure the preservation, protection and improvement of Bishops Park as a place of historic and ecological interest and beauty and recreational use”.
Fulham Social Hub supported the creation of a tree trail app - fun and informative for all ages. “We are thrilled that thanks to the generous support of Fulham Social Hub the trees in Bishop’s Park can easily be identified on the Ticl app. The app shows the trees in a list - the nearest ones to you appear first. Or you can follow a tree trail around the park which is a novel way to entertain the family and get them invested in their surroundings” - Chair, Sarah Jane Johnson.
Hit the link below to become a member which ensures you are informed of critical matters involving the park and provides a voice for your views As well as becoming a member you can volunteer to litter pick, help with weeding and deadheading roses, or by bagging up the duck food. The Friends welcome all ages from Duke of Edinburgh volunteers to retirees.
